GUIDELINES

1. OBJECTIVES

1.1) To confer recognition of excellence to individuals and their companies;
1.2) To instill a spirit of high standard quality;
1.3) To create a result-oriented culture: result first, performance now;
1.4) To upgrade image improvement;
1.5) To provide a platform for business networking and expansion;
1.6) To increase confidence in branding “Made in Malaysia” ;
1.7) To internationalize and globalize local companies to greater heights.

2. PARTICIPANTS

2.1) Small-and-medium-size enterprises/industries(SMEs/SMIs);
2.2) Government-linked companies(GLCs);
2.3) Listed & giant companies;
2.4) Foreign & international companies.

3. CRITERIA

All participating companies should be:

3.1) Incorporated in Malaysia and oversea, and in compliance with the relevant rules of law, having no bankruptcy records or proceedings or on-going cases for criminal breach of trust;
3.2) In operation for at least 1 year or in similar standing;
3.3) Recommended by the organiser/co-organisers, business organizations, professional bodies or related authorities, and self-submission should obtain the prior approval by the organiser;
3.4) Judged on annual financial report and overall performance;
3.5) Still sustainable and profit making;
3.6) Possessing a well-charted future plan;
3.7) A previous business-related award winning gains an advantage;
3.8) Providing further documents and facilitating interviews if requested.

4. CATEGORIES

Every participating company is entitled two awards and business nature will be specially stated in the Award Certificate.

4.1) CATEGORY A
4.1a) Masterclass Company – a role model in a particular industry;
4.1b) Masterclass Leader – a master strategist (for Chairman, Managing Director or Chief Executive Officer);

4.2) CATEGORY B
4.2a) Quality Director – an excellent dedicated and capable planner (for Chairman, Managing Director or Chief Executive Officer);
4.2b) Quality Pioneer & Key Player – an excellent advance & risk-taking company;
4.2c) Quality Listed Company – an excellent company listed on Bursa Malaysia;

4.3) CATEGORY C
4.3a) Quality Government-Linked Company – an excellent company linked to the government;
4.3b) Quality Property Developer & Contractor – an excellent nation building contributor;
4.3c) Quality Franchise Company – an excellent chain-store company;
4.3d) Quality Multi-Level Marketing Company – an excellent result-added teamwork company;
4.3e) Quality SMI & SME – an excellent small-and-medium-size industry/enterprise;

4.4) CATEGORY D
4.4a) Quality Information Technology Company – an excellent company of high creativity and innovation;
4.4b) Quality College & University – an excellent education provider;
4.4c) Quality Beauty & Healthcare Company – an excellent heartfelt humancare company;
4.4d) Quality Professional Company – an excellent company of high professionalism;
4.4e) Quality Brand – an excellent brand with a unique identity;
4.4f) Quality Green Company – an excellent environmentally friendly company;
4.4g) Quality Product – an excellent product of much appreciation.

5. INCENTIVES

5.1) One trophy;
5.2) One certificate;
5.3) One photograph taken with the Guest of Honour;
5.4) One publicity in the organiser’s website;
5.5) Ten seats for the award presentation dinner;
5.6) One full-page congratulatory advertisement for group winners in either The Edge or New StraitsTimes;
5.7) Media coverage on award presentation dinner;
5.8) Complimentary use of the award materials for advertising and promotion;
5.9) Category A winners have the privilege to be seated with the Guest of Honour at award presentation dinner: 31st March, 2017, Friday, 8:30pm, Putrajaya Shangri-La Hotel.

6. SUBMISSIONS IN HARD OR SOFT COPY

6.1) A complete company profile;6.2 A company logo;
6.3) A recent passport-size photograph of either the Chairman, Managing Director or Chief Executive Officer(in suit);
6.4) One-year latest audited or management account statements;
6.5) A non-refundable processing fee of RM500;
6.6) Subsidiaries or associate companies are allowed to submit their applications separately;
6.7) Initial deadline: on/before 6th March, 2017, entitled to a processing-fee discount of RM200;
6.8) Final deadline: on/before 12th March, 2017.

7. REMARKS

7.1) The award is a recognition for qualification, not a competition;
7.2) Winner list will be presented in categorization, without ranking;
7.3) All selected winners will be notified by fax and/or registered post;
7.4) Non-refundable sponsorships are needed from all winners for the above-mentioned benefits;
7.5) 50% sponsorships will be imposed for any cancellation;
7.6) The organiser shall not be held liable or accountable for the protection of private and confidential information in the submissions;
7.7) The organiser reserves the absolute right to bestow and revoke the awards, to interpret and alter the terms and conditions stated herein or elsewhere without prior notice as it deems appropriate;
7.8) All participants and winners are strictly prohibited from making an public statements on the award;
7.9) The guidelines stated herein are meant for permitted and selected viewing only, and unpermitted mass circulation or public viewing are strictly prohibited;
7.10) The organiser’s decisions are deemed final and conclusive, and neither appeals, complaints nor lawsuits will be attended. Other terms and conditions also apply.
